powerNotespowerNotes is a new application from powerPen which allows you to create your own type of custom note and place it in the Notepad. Newton 2.0 already comes with three built in types of notes: lined paper, the checklist, and the outline. These are accessed by tapping the New button in the Notepad. With powerNotes, you can create your own personal note and modify it until it looks just the way you like. powerNotes is highly exapandable in that it has support for plug-in tools built into it. Newton developers can create their own tools very easily by following the soon to be published powerNotes API. Any developer who is interested should contact powerPen at the email address below. This is the first Beta version of powerPen, so any comments, suggestions, or bug reports are greatly appreciated. Also keep an eye out for more tools being added to our web page. Known Defects: - If you have more than around 25 layouts installed in the Notepad, the popup that appears after hitting the "New" button in the Notepad does not scroll down to the bottom. - Moving layouts to and from the card sometimes throws an exception. We have found that if you close the exception and continue everything will be ok, though your layout may have not been filed.FILESREADME.TXT Text file you are reading now.pNote10e.PKG Installable powerNotes program.
