This program (Any Key) is copyright copyright 2003 by R. Dylan Stewart If you want to use my code in your program, then just ask me and I'll probably let you. This program is just a quick hack at this point. I wrote it in response to requests on NewtonTalk for a way to get the keyboard open in any application. The first program I wrote to do this took at least three taps to do what this one does in one tap. All that I did was put a clView in the upper-right corner with a viewClickScript that launches the keyboard that is appropriate for the app that is currently accepting keystrokes. Run it a second time to disable it. The previous version had a rather nasty bug in that my view intercepted all of the overview and up/down commands. I fixed that (I think). I plan to make it a system extension and give it some options soon, but I wanted to get it out first. I have not experienced any problems using this program. If your Newton dies, your house burns down, your significant other leaves you, or anything else bad happens as a result of this program, please don't sue me. I'm just a poor college student. Tell me as much as you can about what happened and I'll try to fix it. I'll even give you credit as a bug tester. If you download this and find it at all useful, then please E-mail me and tell me what you want me to work on next, be it improvements to one of my current programs or an entirely new project. Programmers need to know what people want.
