However, making copies for any commercialpurpose is prohibited without express written permission from the author.==============================================================================Shortcuts is a shareware utility that lets you add buttons to the status bar of the Notepad that act as shortcuts to the built-in as well as other applications.INSTALLING Shortcuts: Use the Newton Connection Kit or Package Installer utilityto load the package into your Newton.  Shortcuts is a little on the large size (roughly 60Kafter installation) and therefore can be loaded into either internal memory or onto a storage card. If at all possible try to load it into the internal memory.USING Shortcuts: Start Shortcuts by opening it in the Extras Drawer. Then all you need to do is tap and drag buttons to the status bar. There is a How Do I? button that will give you online help about using Shortcuts.FUTURE Shortcuts: In the near future I'm going to make the popup for the packages picker use a smaller font so those of you with a large number of packages installed will be able to see them. Also I'll be working on a composite button that would let you add several shortcuts to one button.Shortcuts is shareware. I've made sure that there isn't any annoying messages in Shortcuts about the fact that it is shareware. Although I can certainly see the effectivness of using a registering system, I don't really like using utilities that are always flashing messages about it. I like a utility that feels like it is a part of the Newton system. InstallScript bug fix 	 There was a bug in the InstallScript that showed up for several 																		people that made it impossible to remove Shortcuts and caused 																		several problems in the process for them. *** IMPORTANT *** If you have version 1.0 installed, you will need to do the following: Open Shortcuts, click on the Shortcuts button, choose the Remove Soup option. Click on the OK button when asked if you really want to remove the soup. Close Shortcuts and then remove it.
