Egg Freckles Enabler v1.0by Avi Drissman, drissman@acm.orghttp://detroit.freenet.org/~drissman/newton/RequirementsA Newton device with Newton OS 2.1 or greater. (That means a MessagePad 2000, a MessagePad 2100, or eMate 300.)About 10K free on the internal store.PurposeThere was an Easter Egg on older OS 2.0 Newtons. This Enabler resurrects this Egg.InstallationUse the Newton Connection Utilities program that came with your Newton device to download the included package.UseThe procedure for invoking the Easter Egg is identical to the method used on the 1x0 series. The only problem with it is that you must have the Assist icon on your button bar (like the 1x0 machines). So, if the Assist icon isn't there, move it there. Then, write the phrase "Egg freckles" anywhere (not the quotes). Then hilite it, and tap Assist on your button bar.Version HistoryVersion 1.0 (26 July 1998)Initial releaseLegal stuffThe package Egg Freckles Enabler is freeware.
