We have discovered that some computers may experience an error -98206 when trying to connect. This is because QuickPress hasn't been able to locate your serial port. You can work around this problem by manually open the QUICKP.INI file (use "Find File") and enter the desired port. If you for example want to use your COM1 port, then enter "port=0" or if you want to use your COM2 port you enter "port=1".

You may experience problems when trying to transfer large texts (over 3-4000 characters). This is due to the Newton's heap and other technical factors. QuickPress was designed as a tool to quickly move short text pieces between your Newton and PC and we recommend that you use Newton Connection Utilities for larger texts, or divide the text into smaller parts.
