NetTest v0.5------------------------------------------------------------------------What is NetTest?NetTest is an application for testing an AppleTalk network. This version lists all zones, and all entities in the current zone.------------------------------------------------------------------------How to use NetTest1. Start the application by tapping on NetTest in the Extras drawer.2. Tap Open to open the AppleTalk driver.3. Tap Zones? to see if your network has any zones.4. Tap My Zone to see the zone you are connected to.5. Tap Zone List for a list of zones as seen by your Newton.6. Tap Start NBP to start the Name Binding Protocol (NBP) lookup. The Newton will continue sending NBP requests over the network until you tap Stop NBP.7. Tap Count NBP for the current number of entities found.8. Tap NBP List for a list of all names found. Some names may appear more than once when more than one entity on the net have the same name.9. Tap Stop NBP to stop sending NBP requests over the network. The Newton automatically stops sending NBP requests when you quit the application.10. Tap Close to close the AppleTalk driver. The driver is automatically closed when you quit the application.11.
