Dictionary View 5

As you tap letters to examine the contents of the dictionary, you may want to backup or clear the entire entry.

The backspace button is used to delete the last character that was tapped. When you tap this button, the last letter entered is removed, and the dictionary list is updated so that the first entry displayed in the list is a word whose initial letters match the letters now appearing in the lookup word area.

The clear button is used to completely delete the entry in the lookup word area. When this button is tapped, the entry is deleted, and the dictionary list is updated so that the first word or phrase is displayed in the list.
